Spare trees or land…

Are you itching to get your hands on some fruit off some trees near you, which you know is going to waste rather than into bellies?

Are you a member of a community group and do you have access to a patch of land that would look a whole lot better with some fruit trees on it?

We have found all our partner groups for planting for the winter season of 2011-2012, but please get in touch if you’re a member of a community group interested in planting next year.

The Capital Comunity Foundation launched in January 2011 its "500 for London" programme.

They are looking for 500 people to give £500 to some fantastic projects tackling some pressing issue in London- in 3 domains (Youth at Risk, Urban Greening or Violence Against Women). The London Orchard Project has been selected to be part of the Urban Greening Scheme.
