Medlar Workshop

On Sunday 4th December The London Orchard Project will be joining up with the People's Kitchen Hackney to add a unique fruity flavour to their regular Sunday dinner.
As part of the dinner preparations, fruit enthusiast Jean-Jacques Lescure will be showing us how to make a delicious Medlar jam from a traditional French recipe. Medlars are a fascinating fruit that has been grown since medieval times and are mentioned in the Canterbury Tales. The People's Kitchen in Hackney brings people together to turn surplus that would othersiwe go to waste into delicious communal meals. Please email David for more details of how to book.
